In the apartment of one of the murder victims is a red book, a diary written by a young nurse who finds herself swept up in the resistance.
Intertwining the voice within the diary and Pallioti investigation the real, and very tragic journey of this Florentine Partisian crew comes to light ... and is finally put to rest.
But whose side will you be on... the murderer or the victims??
This story was completely gripping, heartbreaking and had me in MAJOR tears the ENTIRE way through. The view of Italy is incredible and the writing is flawless. An amazing read!!
You will be swept off your feet and into the story.
