Rose Byrne

I love Rose Byrne’s style.

I would give her the title “FUNKY CHIC”!

She always looks so put together and lady-like, but she really has fashion-know-how and on top of all that she has an edge! I look forward to red carpets because I am interested to see what she’s going to pull out, which is a rareity with so many celebs either going the safe route (Michelle Williams) or the trashy route (Niki Minaj). I believe Byrne’s is that successful middle ground.

Rose Byrne was born in a suburb of Sydney, Australia and is of Irish and Scottish decent. She began acting at age eight, joining the Australian Theatre for Young Performers and later at the University of Sydney. She then entered into the Atlantic Theatre company in 1999 developed by William H Macy.

She has appeared in several Australian television shows working with Heath Ledger. She was awarded the Volpi Cup for “Best Actress” at the Venice Film Festival. Then continued on into Hollywood with small roles in “I Capture the Castle”, “Troy”, and “Star Wars: Episode II”. However, it was “28 Days Later” in 2007 that began Byrne’s spiral upwards to fame. She grabbed the lead in FX drama production “Damages” and since then has appeared in “X-Men: First Class”, “Bridesmaids”, and “Insidious”.

Byrne was the face of Max Factor in 2004 and 2006. She is also a large supporter of UNICEF Australia.
